David King is a dedicated public servant with a distinguished record of service. He began his career in the U.S. Army, serving four years as a medical specialist, before transitioning to a 28-year career in law enforcement, where he earned respect as a veteran police officer.
David’s commitment to cultural preservation is deeply personal; he was married to Kristela Cortez, one of the founding members of the San Antonio Mission Indian Descendants. As an Advisor of the organization, David continues to honor her legacy by advocating for the rich history and heritage of their community.
