Elizabeth Esther was born in San Antonio, Texas, but spent most of her life in Oklahoma, where she raised four amazing children. For 7 years, Elizabeth has worked as an Educational Sign Language Interpreter, where she’s had the privilege of facilitating communication and making a meaningful impact in the lives of others.
A proud Lipan Apache and Mission Indian Descendant, Elizabeth is the niece of the founders of San Antonio Mission Indian Descendants. She is honored to be a part of the organization as an Advisor and contribute to the incredible mission that her family began. With her unique perspective and dedication to her roots, Elizabeth is committed to supporting the group’s efforts to preserve and share the Native American history of the San Antonio Missions.
Elizabeth’s personal journey of discovery and her passion for empowering others aligns with the organization’s vision, and she looks forward to continuing the work of educating descendants about their heritage and ensuring that the rich history of the San Antonio Missions is recognized and celebrated for generations to come.
