Honoring the Legacy: San Antonio Mission Indian Descendants Day at the Capitol We are honored to share a major milestone in our journey of recognition and advocacy. On April 15, 2025, the Texas House of Representatives officially recognized the San Antonio Mission Indian Descendants (SAMID) with a Day of Recognition. House Resolution #765:
