Our Mission Statement
San Antonio Mission Indian Descendants was created to educate and bring awareness of the continuing existence and current presence of Native American descendants of the San Antonio Missions, the contributions of our Native American ancestors to the formation of San Antonio and assist individuals in their journey of discovery.
How can I support SAMID?
You can support us through donations, or purchasing items from our shop. Every contribution directly helps preserve and share the cultural heritage of our community.
Are donations tax-deductible?
Yes. San Antonio Mission Indian Descendants (SAMID) or (SAMIDTX) is a registered nonprofit. #92-0624872 – Donations may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Please consult your tax advisor.
What do I receive when I donate or purchase an item?
Product purchases are considered contributions to our nonprofit. The item you receive is a thank-you gift, not a traditional retail sale.
Can I return or exchange an item I purchased?
All items are final sale since they are contributions. However, if your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 14 days for a replacement or refund, if applicable.
How do I become a member?
You can become a member by completing our membership form and paying the membership fee. Please use the contact page inquire this information as there is a process to vet everyone into the family.
